Plan Goals
The purpose of the project is to create an action-oriented plan for a citywide transportation network that will be pedestrian friendly and reduce future traffic congestion.

The plan will include a reliable mass transit component to service home, workplace and other daily destinations. The plan will also address the efficient transport and delivery of goods to and from industrial areas and commercial businesses.

Please be advised that the Jersey City Planning Board will consider adoption of a revised Circulation Element of the Jersey City Master Plan at their Tuesday, April 14, 2009 meeting. This meeting will convene at 5:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, 280 Grove Street, Second Floor, Jersey City, NJ.

The revised Circulation Element is available for review at the Division of City Planning located at 30 Montgomery Street, Fourteenth Floor, Suite 1400, Jersey City, NJ and at the Office of the City Clerk located in City Hall, 280 Grove Street, Jersey City, NJ.
